The company is a group of performing artists, formed by Yoko Higashino in 2000.Its dance performance is based on the true nature of the individuals, emotional ups and downs and impulse created in a human body. The company speaks to the audience by using dance movements with various motifs. Other methods of dance communication use electronic music, stage setting assembled in accordance with the performance, and dynamic visual image synchronizing with dance movements.
With such internationally acclaimed works as [ALARM!](2004), [GEEEEEK](2006), [E/G](2007), [I'm aroused](2008), "[RHIZOME]M mother/monster/machine/m....."(2009),"[MESs](2009),and"[????????](2011),the company is expanding its field of activities globally.
The company was invited to the art festivals in the United States,France,Singapore,Germany,Norway,Mexico,Cuba,Itary,and so on.
The company staged [ALARM!] at the Toyota Choreography Awards 2004 and won the Next Generation Choreographer prize. At the Yokohama Solo+Duo+ 2005, [Zero Hour] won the grand prize: Yokohama Prize for Brilliant Future, in the group dancing category. The company has been awarded many other prizes. The company owns a studio called [BABY-Q Dance Lab.] in Koenji, Tokyo.
Began training in modern dance and ballet in 1982. Founded her first unit ""ERROR SYSTEM"" with 2 musicians in 1995. Founded ""Dance Company BABY-Q"" in 2000. By collaborating with artists from other art genres, the company covers not only the field of performing arts but also the sub-cultural and contemporary music field. The world of BABY-Q has been developed by multilaterally integrating each character and time frames of works of the members including the dancers, actors, musicians, visual image designers, visual artists, and costume designers.
Won TOYOTA Choreography Award in 2004, Grand Prize in Yokohama Solo+Duo Competition in 2005. As a solo performer and an event organizer, Higashino has been appearing regularly in places outside of the theater context throughout her career. Her highly regarded workshops for contemporary dance are being offered throughout Japan.
Higashino also runs and designs for her clothing brand "HE?XION!"and operates a music label "HE?XION! TAPES".
A Japanese sound performance artist currently based in Tokyo. His obsessive interest in archiving obscure recordings from the times past, naturally extended itself into a series of sound performances using record players and tape machines in the early 1990's.
Later he toured and recorded as a member of Christian Marclay Trio, and collaborated extensively with such luminaries as Aki Onda, Tim Barnes, Peter Kowald, Shelley Hirsch, DJ Olive, Marina Rosenfeld, Barry Weisblat, Margalida Garcia and Okkyung Lee amongst others.
Besides all other art stuff he manages a record store, writes for music magazines and DJ around town to make ends meet.
She has started to make a music since 1997. She represents Dark anbient, Electronica & Noise in original view of the world. She designs a sound, like conrider a space three dimensionaly.
She has taken charge of all the music of Baby-q since 2000. She organized unit "s:p" that consisting of 2 women.She played some live performances, for example sound event "garden", "room" at Kyoto seika university, at some night clubs, and soon.
2001, she played solo live at Yokohama Triennale. She is holding an event "INDIVIDUAL ROGIC" at studio Gpod irregulary. 2004, made all the music of a drama "Hamlet" that sponsored Osaka HEPHALL. That was favorably received.

He has started to make robot that use waste since 1995. He does the robot battle at the field and theater. He has taken charge of all the performing arts of BABY-Q since 2000.
She, as a solo artist, collaborates with many musicians. Sometimes she appears in clubs, bars, or galleries, naming herself as ?Kemumaki Yoko,? an unclassifiable avant-garde dancing body!

He has played an active part ROKAPENIS as a visual artist since 1999. He played VJ at night club in Tokyo and Osaka. He has taken charge of all the making images and operation for all works of BABY-Q since 2000.
2004, In Australia, he sent a visual work for BABY-Q in Adelaide festival. Also he held the event that "installation" 30 watching cameras and 15 tv monitors at SUMISO in Osaka.
His work has begun to garner international interest and his piece, Error Code, a video dance project, was nominated for the American Dance Festival?s Dancing for the Camera in 2007.
